A streamer called Quizzle has managed to finish Resident Evil 7 using only the pocket knife you get near the start of the game. Before that moment, he makes do with the axe.

To make this feat even more impressive, he did it on Madhouse difficulty, which ups the damage output of the enemies and is only unlocked once you complete the game.
The run lasts just over three-and-a-half hours, despite the fact that one of the later bosses takes just over an hour to poke to death.
