Rising Storm 2: Vietnam just got its first gameplay footage shown off in a new trailer. Considering it’s still in alpha, it’s looking rather good.
Rising Storm 2 is probably still a way off, being in alpha and all, but the picks in our list of PC’s best FPS games are all brilliant and are all available to play right now.
It probably won’t beat Battlefield: Bad Company 2’s excellent Vietnam expansion, but at least all the Vietnam war cliches are all present and correct – that’s the main thing.
There are paddy fields, there’s napalm, I spotted a few funny straw hats, and it’s all overlaid with an upbeat soundtrack that sits in stark contrast with the horror of killstreaking noobs. There’s even a helmet with ‘born to kill’ scrawled on it.
