Prepare for speedy dongs – Rocket League to get Steam Workshop support in December

Rocket League Steam Workshop

Modders have been going at Rocket League for a while already, but Psyonix are releasing official Steam Workshop support this December, making it easier than ever to share and download player creations for the car football game.

Once it’s live, players will be able to simply head to the Steam Rocket League community hub and upload their creations. There have already been mods (not actually dongs, honestly), a Rocket League assault course and a dribbling challenge being among some of the highlights.

Once our next update is live, Psyonix will provide a Steam Workshop Uploader Tool which will allow content creators to upload their levels. Just tap in the creation name, a description, the level and a fitting image and you’re good to go.

“Just make sure that your preview image is a sharp, accurate representation of what you’ve made,” Psyonix say.

If you’re more of the playing type, you can just head to the game’s Steam Workshop page and subscribe to the mods you want to try.

The update will land in “the coming weeks”.
