As a man who's not been on a roller coaster for 17 years, I'm perhaps not the target audience for games revolving around theme park management. That's why I've never played any of the RollerCoaster Tycoons. Still, that doesn't mean I can't enjoy a rather splendid fan-made film of what the iconic series would be like if it was real.
Rollercoaster Tycoon requires careful/totally wreckless planning, as do the best strategy games on PC.
Lord, there are some sickeningly talented people on YouTube these days, huh? Though I'm a touch clueless when it comes to RollerCoaster Tycoon, I can totally see myself building rides that would end in mid-air.
The clever people at AndrewMFilms certainly have captured the charm and small, silly details of the gloriously daft theme park series... though I probably could have done without all the virtual sick.
To end things semi on topic, what PC game do you think would make a kickass roller coaster? Personally, I'd love a Half-Life one. Just imagine going through a loop-the-loop that catapults you through a gigantic version of the G-Man's bespectacled face.
