Samsung 9100 Pro SSD amazon deal

This ultra-fast gaming SSD has just seen its price drop for the second time in two weeks, with up to $70 now to be saved thanks to this new deal. Once again marked as a limited-time deal, you can grab a Samsung 9100 Pro gaming SSD for as low as $179.99 for the 1TB model, while the biggest savings are available on the 4TB model.

In our Samsung 9100 Pro review, we scored this drive an impressive 8/10, with price being the biggest red flag. Thanks to this new deal, the price has dropped even more than in a deal we spotted two weeks ago. Even with its high MSRP, its remarkable speeds and efficient cooling still saw it earn a spot on our best gaming SSD guide. Now you can own one of these new Samsung drives for a very attractive price.

The Samsung 9100 Pro passed our SSD testing parameters with flying colors, achieving the best PC Mark 10 full system drive test we'd recorded at the time, but also impressing with its read and write speeds.

Samsung claims the drive can reach a 14,800MB/s read speed, but our testing topped out at 14,725MB/s on the 4TB model, which is still mightily impressive. As for the write speeds, we recorded a top sequential write speed of 12,450MB/s, which is now behind the WD Black SN8100, but still very fast indeed.

While it was nice to see the price of the Samsung 9100 Pro already subject to a reduction, this second round of cuts makes this gaming SSD all the more appealing. The 1TB 9100 Pro heatsink model has an MSRP of $219.99 but is currently available for just $179.99, an 18% saving and $10 cheaper than the previous deal.

The biggest savings, however, are available on the 4TB 9100 Pro heatsink model, where the $569.99 MSRP is reduced to $499.99, a 12% saving of $70. You can check out the options and buy your drive at this link.

Granted, this is still a huge investment, but if your gaming PC is already set up and ready for a PCIe 5.0 drive, a 4TB option offers more than enough space to fit a hearty amount of games. In fact, it will fit approximately 2,660 copies of Baldur's Gate 3.
