South Park: The Fractured But Whole delayed

South Park: The Fractured But Whole delayed

South Park: The Fractured But Whole has been farted into next year. It won’t be here by Christmas, which is poo. It’s a Christmas poo.

We best make some adjustments to our upcoming PC games list.

South Park: The Fractured But Whole is another RPG penned by the cartoon’s creators, but the small-town, 2D boys aren’t playing Lord of the Rings anymore – this time they’re playing superheroes, giving the showrunners the opportunity to lay into pretty much every modern blockbuster in existence.

The game’s set to come with a bunch of improvements over the first, too, giving the player access to their farting special powers outside of combat, letting them parp their way up to secret items and more. The combat is also expanded, with a grid-based movement system layered over the turn-based tactics of the first.

Unfortunately, the game is set to miss its December release date, instead coming out some time early 2017.

“South Park: The Fractured But Whole will now launch on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC, calendar Q1 2017,” said an update on the Ubi Blog. “The development team wants to make sure the game experience meets the high expectations of fans and the additional time will help them achieve this goal.”
