Sponsored post: Get Games has got four hefty sales on including 75% off Tomb Raider and XCOM

Tomb Raider Square Enix

Our chums at Get Loaded have a whopping four sales going on this weekend, with a ridiculous number of cracking titles going cheap like Lara Croft’s latest adventure and tactical alien slaughterfest XCOM – both 75 percent off. And for those of you who can’t handle a Halloween full of scares, there’s a completely non-spooky Halloween sale to boot.

This is the future we’re living in now, friends. Where Halloween means cheap games and not just off-brand candy and atrocious costumes. Revel in it while it lasts.

Get Loaded: buy two games for £10/$15

The first of the four sales started at 4PM yesterday and will run for 72 hours. Grab any two of the listed games for a tenner. If I was you, I’d snatch up Sleeping Dogs and The Darkness II. You’ll have a grand old time driving through Hong Kong, going slightly loopy as you juggle dual identities as an undercover cop, and then you can polish it off with some demonic carnage in New York while Faith No More’s Mike Patton freaks you out.

  • Sleeping Dogs

  • Hitman Absolution: Professional Edition

  • DIRT Showdown

  • StarDrive

  • Spellforce 2: Faith in Destiny Digital Deluxe Edition

  • Sniper Elite V2 High Command Edition

  • Sniper Elite: Nazi Zombie Army

  • Rising Storm

  • The Darkness II

  • Serious Sam 3: BFE Seriously Digital Edition

Tomb Raider and XCOM sale

This one’s a doozy. All of the Tomb Raider titles from Legend to the 2013 version, including the survival edition are 75 percent off, and it’s hard to go wrong with any of them. The newest installment is especially worth your time, with all the mountain climbing and wolf stabbing you could want.

Joining a discounted Ms. Croft are the XCOM games. It’s the new ones only, with Enemy Unknown for 75 percent off and The Bureau at 50 percent off. The latter isn’t particularly great, but the discounted price is definitely tempting. Enemy Unknown is bloody spectacular though, so it’s definitely worth a look. As an added bonus, you can also pick up the Enemy Within expansion for 10 percent off. Nab it before it escapes! The sale ends on Monday.

Cowardly Halloween sale

If the thought of the dead rising from their graves and children pestering you for sweets makes you nervous, this Halloween sale should be right up your street. A whole slew of not at all scary games are on offer, with the standouts being The Book of Unwritten Tales, Quantum Conundrum and Rayman Origins – all cheery and fun rather than haunting and terrifying. They are all between 40 and 75 percent off. If you only snatch one, it really ought to be Rayman Origins, because it’s bloody lovely.

The Halloween sale ends on Halloween, when the restless undead start to break into your home.

That’s your lot, folks. Anything tickling your fancy?
