Star Wars: Battlefront Fighter Squadron is a 20-player aerial mode

Star Wars Battlefront Fighter Squadron

At Gamescom EA and DICE showed off a new mode for Star Wars: Battlefront: Fighter Squadron. A 20-player mode set completely in the skies, with another 20 AI players joining the fight, it looks a frantic, exhilarating game.

The action in the trailer takes place on Sullust, with fighters swooping from cloud level right down to lava-filled trenches. Star Destroyers hang in the sky, and players zoom around in X-Wings, A-Wings, TIE-Fighters, and Interceptors. Joining them are more iconic vehicles like the Millennium Falcon and Boba Fett’s SLAVE-1.

Battlefront releases November 2015.

This looks fantastic, but way too cinematic, like a cut-scene. I hope the actual gameplay doesn't look like this.

That being said my only real fear for the game is the amount of AI we're seeing, I don't want it to end up like Titanfall where it often felt like a PvE game....
