Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order Scomp Link – how to fix BD-1 and open locked chests

Just starting out in Fallen Order? You may be wondering how you can fully repair your droid pal

Where is the Jedi: Fallen Order Scomp Link? You won’t be able to open up any locked chests or hack terminal in Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order until you find the Scomp Link and repair BD-1. It can be pretty frustrating stumbling upon locked chests and red-tinted panels only to be met with a message telling you to go get a Scomp Link first. With no real instruction suggesting where you can find this vital piece of kit you may be wondering exactly when you’ll finally be able to get your hands on one so you can fix your adorable robot companion.

If you’re like us, you may have spent hours wandering around the first planet, Bogano, looking for the Scomp Link or alternative routes to sealed off areas. Turns out you’ll need to get the Scomp Link from the icy planet of Zeffo, which is one of the planets you can visit afterwards.

To ensure you don’t waste time scouring areas in vain, we’ve assembled a quick and handy Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order Scomp Link guide explaining exactly where you’ll find the module.

Where is the Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order Scomp Link?

You can find the Scomp Link in the Weathered Monument area on the planet Zeffo. However, you won’t be able to reach this area until you play through the planet at least once and acquire the Force Push skill.

Once you’ve got this ability you need to retrace your steps until you reach the Weathered Monument area and look around for a crumbling stone door. There will be a blue light on the door, which is the game’s way of saying you can use your Force abilities on it – give it a Force Push.

There will be some goons to battle through here, but all you need to do is follow the walkway around and climb up a grate, which will bring you to a workbench where you can upgrade BD-1 with the Scomp Link.

And there you have it, a simple guide to getting the Jedi: Fallen Order Scomp Link. We’ve got plenty more guides where that came from, including how to get the double-bladed lightsaber in Jedi: Fallen Order. If you’re wondering whether you can beat the Second Sister boss in Fallen Order, then we’ve got you covered for that, too. Finally, we also have a walkthrough for the tricky Ilum Jedi Temple in case you get stuck. May the Force be with you, Padawan.
