While you’ll make enemies along the way, experts are useful allies and can teach you handy new abilities to use in combat, stealth, and more.
You’ll meet some of these Star Wars Outlaws experts during main story quests, but others are found separately throughout the world. The best Star Wars Outlaws abilities to unlock as soon as possible are:

- Concussive Smoke – Smoke Bomb now leaves enemies Staggered for two seconds

Quest location: Akiva, Karaba Foothills, Sashin Village
Abilities:
- Hydrorepulsor – ride your Speeder over water
- Electro-Shock Prod – Kay can perform takedowns on Elite enemies
- Ion Smoke Bomb – Smoke Bombs now deal ion damage, disabling devices and droids temporarily
- Assisted Scavenging – Nix can find extra materials and valuables from containers
- Scavenger’s Footwear – increases movement speed while crouching
- Survivor – increases maximum health
Rooster Trace
Quest location: Kijimi, Kijimi City, Domak Refectory
Abilities:
- Can I Try That? – use a wider range of pick-up weapons
- I Like This Thing – increases pick-up weapon ammo by 25%
- Feelers Out – doubles the distance Nix can detect and highlight enemies with Nix Sense
- Sharpshooting – Increases adrenaline generated by headshots
- Loop Maneuver – unlocks a 180-degree Trailblazer maneuver to quickly turn the ship around
- Top Roll Maneuver – unlocks a 360-degree backwards roll maneuver to place the Trailblazer behind pursuing enemies
Sheriff Quint
Quest location: Tatooine (main story quest)
Abilities:
- Adrenaline Rush Mastery – increases the number of enemies affected by Adrenaline rush by two, and includes explosive barrels as targets
- Powered Recharge – generates a small amount of Adrenaline after performing a Perfect Cooling
- Speeder Shot – Adrenaline Rush can be used from your Speeder, automatically targeting nearby enemy speeders
- Resilient – increases maximum health
- The More – allows you to mark one more enemy during Adrenaline Rush
- The Better – allows you to mark enemies twice during Adrenaline Rush, killing them instantly
Teeka
Quest location: Tatooine, Mos Eisley, Scavenger’s Draw
Abilities:
- Laser Turret – unlocks Trailblazer turret upgrades
- Improved Grenade – increases radius and damage dealt by grenades by 50%
- Enhanced Bacta Injector – increases health recovered by Bacta Vials
- Magnetic Dice – allows you to cheat during Sabacc dice rolls
- Cheeky Explosion – Nix can now trigger grenades held by enemies
- M’Gasha – decreases cost of merchant trades and increases income for sales
Lando Calrissian
Quest location: Akiva, Myrra, The Alcazar
Abilities:
- Plan A – unlocks Sabacc double draw
- Plan B – provides Heavy Blaster Module crafting unlock
- Roll Maneuver – unlocks a dodge roll for the Trailblazer
- Shoot First – the opening blaster shot from an out of combat state causes a large burst of extra damage
- Ask Later – shortly after unholstering, hip-fire shots and near-misses grant a small amount of Adrenaline
- Just Improvise – After Fast-Talk or arrest, gain a high amount of Adrenaline
MT-7
Quest location: Akiva, after collecting four transmissions in orbit
Abilities:
- Decryption Module – unlocks the ability to decrypt Separatist Datadiscs
- Improvise – increases maximum health

- Overcome – Kay recovers faster after taking explosion damage
