Following a successful Kickstarter, Steam Hammer- the hardcore Steampunk sandbox from Big Way Games – is now in open beta. Set in an alternate late-19th century you can choose between, or combine, skills such as engineer, scientist, farmer or gunsmith, and then set out into the world to build houses or factories and to forge weapons and armour. From there you can engage in battles on land or in the sky with airships and jetpacks also making an appearance. There are no predefined roles or goals, leaving you free to grow a twirly moustache, don your favourite goggles and explore or destroy with reckless abandon.
Steam Hammer beta access is now available and the game will enter Early Access later this year.
So how do you get your hands on a beta key? All you need to do is enter via our widget below. Each action is worth one entry, so the more you do, the higher your chance of winning. We’ll also need your email, but not for anything fishy – we just need a way to contact you should you win a key!
