November 30, 2020 The Steam Autumn Sale comes to a close soon, so if you’re looking to get a deal, hop on it.
Valve’s storefront is currently packed with bargains on some of the biggest game franchises, coolest indies, and even some of this year’s big hits – everything from FPS games to strategy games are included. But you’ll want to be quick about it, as the sale is coming to a close very soon.
The Steam Autumn Sale ends on December 1 at 10:00 PST / 13:00 EST / 18:00 GMT. This will also mark the close of the Steam Awards nominations, so if you want to voice your support for some of this year’s games, you’ll need to hurry.
This year’s categories include Game of the Year and VR Game of the Year, as well as awards for Labor of Love, Better With Friends, Outstanding Visual Style, Most Innovative Gameplay, Best Game You Suck At, Best Soundtrack, Outstanding Story-Rich Game, and Sit Back and Relax. You can nominate any game released in 2020 for each award, and Valve has created the usual selection of quirky awards and quests to complete as part of the Autumn celebration.
As for deals, here are a few that jumped out at us. The Assassin’s Creed franchise is on sale for up to 80% off – that means you can grab the sea-faring Assassin’s Creed Odyssey for $17.99 / £14.99, or the pyramid-scaling Assassin’s Creed Origins for $11.99 / £9.99.
If your ears perked up at the news of Hitman 3, you’ll be pleased to know the Hitman franchise is going for up to 84% off, which means it’s super cheap to get into the ‘World of Assassination’ IO Interactive has created for its latest trilogy.
The Dishonored: Complete Collection is marked down 75%, which means you can get Dishonored, Dishonored 2, and Dishonored: Death of the Outsider for just $19.99 / £13.74. Individual items are on sale as well.
The excellent space game Star Wars: Squadrons is on sale for 40% off, at $23.99 / £20.99 – if you’ve got a joystick and some TIE Fighter nostalgia, this is one you don’t want to miss. The rest of the Star Wars franchise is on sale, too – and that includes Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order at 60% off.
