Supervive release date window, trailers, and latest news

We’ve got all the latest news on the Supervive release date window, as well as trailers for Theorycraft Games’ MOBA battle royale hybrid.

When is Supervive released? Billed as a top-down hero shooter, Supervive plays like a MOBA with the ruleset of a battle royale. You’ll fight for supremacy in an ever-shrinking arena, visiting shops to increase your power, and – inevitably – buy your teammates back from their time in the afterlife.

There have been a handful of Supervive playtests, where players have had a chance to get to grips with the novel battle royale game, and taken the Supervive characters out for a spin. The MOBA game might still be a little ways away, but we have the Supervive release date window and all of the trailers released so far.

Supervive release date window

The Supervive release date window is Q1 2025, according to Theorycraft Games. With the latest playtests having gone off without a hitch, we can’t see a reason why Supervive wouldn’t drop as early as possible in the new year.

The most recent Supervive playtest was a short one – only two hours – which points towards a minor stress test of the servers. With this seemingly going well, and with a steady stream of additions in each test, it looks as though development is on course.

An open beta is planned towards the end of 2024 which could see the servers being switched on indefinitely, and while this isn’t a full release, it gives early adopters a chance to get settled with what is one of the most exciting upcoming games of 2025.

Supervive trailers

The trailer announcing the open beta also shows off just how dynamic and action-oriented the Supervive gameplay will be. We see players dropping in from the sky, gliding through slipstreams, and making huge plays. A variety of abilities are on show here, with snipes dealing huge damage from range, and brawling tanks jumping in the mix and disrupting enemy teams. We also got a hint at what the team has planned for competitive play, with commentators shot-calling the action much like a League of Legends professional match.

Now that you know when to expect Supervive, it’s time to start training that clicking finger and working on your macro plays. Check out the most exciting upcoming games for other stuff to look forward to, and the best new PC games for things you can play right now.
