Sylvio 2 looking to capture the dead on film thanks to your crowdfunding cash

Sylvio 2

The original Sylvio was a little Kickstarter success story, raising 200% of its target goal and making many backers pretty happy earlier this year. Developer Storboskop have decided it’s time to return to their cliche-avoiding horror with a sequel, and have launched a new Kickstarter to pull in the required funding.

If a chill creeping up your spine is what you look for in a good time, then you need one of the best horror games on PC.

Sylvio 2 is an open-world horror game, avoiding the stereotypes of dark shadowy corridors by setting the game in broad daylight. You record ghosts with a video camera and then analyse your findings with a portable TV. It’s a far cry from the likes of Amnesia and Outlast, focusing on puzzles and tension building rather than jump scares.

The Swedish game is looking for kr130,000, and needs to raise it by January 9th. Head over to the Kickstarter campaign page if it’s a game you feel need the aid of your wallet.
