Team Fortress 2 update fixes the Loch-n-Load

On December 17th 2010 TF2s Demoman received quite the Christmas present. The Loch-n-Load is a community-made double-barrelled grenade launcher, firing out shells at a beautiful 56mph. There’s only one problem with it, though. The sights have never being affixed correctly to the top of the gun. They’ve always clipped through the barrel.

That stops today. Finally, after two and a half years, the Loch-n-Load sights have been fixed.

“Fixed the Loch-n-Load gun sight not drawing in the correct place” says the update notes. That’s all we needed to hear.

The update also fixes a selection of other niggles, including fixing crashed caused by missing particle systems, fixing crashes caused by entering Sudden Death mode with only a melee weapon, and stopping doors damaging players when they close on them. All fixes fine and dandy in their own right, none of them quite a magnificent as the fixing of the Loch-n-Load.
