Selling over 600,000 units, The Escapists was a bit of an indie hit, letting players plan and conduct a series of 8-bit prison breaks in a variety of cunning ways.

Worms developer Team 17 didn’t stop there, though, and soon after announced a mashup between The Escapists and The Walking Dead, letting people guide Rick Grimes and his ragtag band of psychologically damaged companions through scenarios ripped straight from the pages of the comic books.

We already knew you would be with the band as they hold up at a farm or try escape from a hospital, but this latest trailer sees the group trying to survive Woodbury.

If you’ve watched the series or read the comics, you’ll know zombies will be the least of the survivors’ concerns here. Check out the trailer:

It looks like some will take place in the abandoned prison where the survivors hole up, but The Governor makes an appearance near the end, so expect it to charter the conflict between your group and the indoctrinated survivors at Woodbury. Whatever angle it’s going for, it looks pretty intense, but still looks to have plenty of braaaaains.
