Do you know what The Sims 4 is missing? A place where Sims can sweat inside a small box with other Sims before allowing a stranger to rearrange their muscles or turn their face into some sort of salad platter. Not for long, though, because The Sims 4 is due a new game pack: Spa Day.
The Sims 4 Spa Day, launching on July 14th, adds a bunch of new buildings, items and interactions to the game. To start you off, you’ll three Maxis-made spas and a new gym that you can plonk down. They come in different shapes and sizes, says EA, so you can find one that “suits your personality”.
Do you like drowning in a stagnant pool of mud and gunk? Perhaps you prefer sweating out all of your body’s precious liquid in a small room full of dripping, naked strangers? If neither of those activities float your proverbial boat, then there’s always the option to allow someone to knead your flesh like tough dough.
Your Sims will also be able to perform awkward massages on other Sims, do yoga and meditate. The more of that they do, the higher their Wellness skill rises, unlocking superior massages and new yoga poses.
Oh yes, and you can hook up in the sauna. There’s nothing more sexy than fooling around in a damp sweat box.
EA hasn’t mentioned the price, yet, but it will probably be the same as the Outdoor Retreat game pack, which is currently £14.99/$19.99.
