The Witcher 3 is less than a month away, so we’re fast approaching peak Witcher saturation. Another video of CD Projekt Red’s sprawling fantasy RPG has appeared, following moody Geralt as he undertakes a side quest for a hunter he meets on the road.

A word of caution before you press play: while “Precious Cargo” is only a side quest, it still has The Witcher’s typical multiple paths, and this 8 minute video will spoil a surprise for you. It’s not a big one, but watching might take away the fun of discovering it for yourself.

Curiously, despite being posted by Microsoft on its Xbox YouTube channel, the footage was not captured on the Xbox One version of the game. Instead, The Witcher 3 is being played on PC, which is why you can enjoy it in a mostly smooth 60fps.
It’s a bit strange that Microsoft is openly — there’s no attempt being made to trick Xbox One owners — showing off the PC version, when it’s quite an upgrade when compared to the Xbox One version, which is locked at 30fps and without the bells and whistles we take for granted on PC.
“Here’s how great The Witcher 3 looks if you don’t get the more expensive console version.” What a pitch!
The Witcher 3 is due out on May 19th.
