Division 2 system requirements

The Division 2 minimum and recommended specs are now super low compared to most major 2025 games, with little to challenge modern PCs.

The Division 2 system requirements.

The Division 2 system requirements are incredibly tame by modern gaming standards, but if you've got the itch to jump back in and enjoy its latest content update, called The Pact, then you can do so without worrying about needing big upgrades for your gaming PC.

The Division 2 isn't a particularly demanding game, and you certainly won't need the best graphics card from our buying guide if you want to get the most out of the in-game settings. In fact, getting the game to run at 4K with a 60fps frame rate requires a GPU that's more than five years old.

Here are the Division 2 system requirements on PC:

Minimum (1080p, 30fps) Recommended (1080p, 60fps)
OS Windows 10 64-bit Windows 10 64-bit
GPU AMD Radeon R9 280X
Nvidia GeForce GTX 780
AMD Radeon RX 480
Nvidia GeForce GTX 970
VRAM 2GB 4GB
CPU AMD FX 6350
Intel Core i5 2500K
AMD Ryzen 5 1500X
Intel Core i7 4790
RAM 8GB 8GB
Storage 77GB 77GB

The Division 2 minimum specs are now well below what you'd expect to see for your average 3D shooter, with the minimum spec just demanding an Nvidia GeForce GTX 780 or AMD Radeon R9 280X graphics card alongside an Intel Core i5 2500K and AMD FX 6350 processor.

Elsewhere,  The Division 2 recommended specs demand a slight step up to list a still very reasonable Nvidia GeForce GTX 970 or AMD Radeon RX 480 alongside an AMD Ryzen 5 1500X or Intel Core i7 4790. The RAM requirements stick at 8GB here, too.

Finally, we have The Division 2 download size of 77GB, which might once have been considered a tricky demand, but by modern standards is now quite reasonable. One of the best gaming SSD picks from our buying guides isn't required to get the game running, but it will certainly save you a lot of waiting during loading screens.

A fast-paced shooter like Division 2 benefits from you having a decent mouse and a screen with a fast refresh rate, so check out our guide to buying the best gaming mouse, as well as the best gaming monitor, to make sure your setup is up to scratch.
