Tooth and Tail promises paratrooper-puking owls and flamethrowing boars

Tooth and Tail

Pocketwatch Games’ “distilled” real-time strategy (RTS) game, Tooth and Tail, will release on September 12, 2017.

Here’s our hot take on the best strategy games on PC.

Described by the developers as an opportunity to “lead an army of flamethrowing Boars, mustard gas-lobbing Skunks, and paratrooper-puking Owls,” Tooth and Tail looks to simplify the RTS formula with an “extensive” single-player campaign, couch co-op, and online competitive play.

With procedurally generated maps and factions, no two conflicts will be the same, so strategising rather than memorising your attack will be key.

If you’re sat there thinking this is some Disney-fied, cutesy take on RTS, don’t. Apparently it’s a “darkly humorous tale of riots and revolution” that involves eating your enemies. Which immediately makes me think of the Secret of Nimh (Google it, millennials) for all the right reasons.

Thanks, GamesRadar.
