Total War: Attila’s Blood and Burning DLC trailer would make even Tarantino sweat

Total War: Attila Blood and Burning DLC

Just as Total War: Rome, and Total War: Shogun 2 before that, Creative Assembly have released their traditional Blood and Gore DLC for Total War: Attila. With the add-on, in-game battles are enhanced with extra “blood-spurt effects, decapitations, limb-lops and disembowelment”.

It may go without saying, but the trailer does a good job of demonstrating the DLC in action – not for those who are faint of heart.

Unlike the previous blood and gore DLCs, Attila’s adds other effects such as new animations to reflect soldiers who are burning, or soldiers who are vomiting from disease.

If you’re in the business of making your Total War: Attila experience even more hyper-realistic than it is, then you can pick up the DLC today on Steam for a measly £1.99/$2.99. Or, if you’ve still yet to decide on picking it up, you might want to read our Fraser’s review, in which he gave it a very satisfying 8/10.
