Total War: Warhammer 2 gets The Shadow and The Blade DLC next week, and as usual, a paid expansion means we’re also getting a free update. Our new Legendary Lord this time around is Repanse de Lyonesse, and after announcing her appearance last week, Creative Assembly has provided a bit more detail on the Brettonian hero.
Repanse gives peasants in her army the benefit of increased leadership and physical resistance. She grants improved armour piercing and attack to infantry, and also gives her soldiers fiery weapons against undead enemies. She’ll never flee from battle – she has to be killed – she gets bonuses for post-war construction, and her sword both debuffs enemies and buffs the hero.
The new Lord starts in Araby, but don’t take that as an indication that the oft-requested desert faction is set to make a debut. “As it stands,” community lead Grace Carroll says on Reddit (again), “there are currently no plans to introduce Araby to the Total War: Warhammer series.”
