It’s not often that I spot an upcoming PC release and say, “Hang on, isn’t this a Vita game?” Toukiden: The Age of Demons is indeed a Vita game and is a bit like the always addictive Monster Hunter series, but with big ol’ demons. It came out in 2013 in Japan and 2014 in North America and Europe.
Toukiden: Kiwami is an updated version that was launched again on Vita, and also PS4, and now it’s coming to PC this month. Direct your eyes toward the announcement trailer below.
Fights! With demons! Right, so that wasn’t very informative if this is the first time you’re coming across Omega Force’s series.
Thankfully, there’s actual gameplay in the PS4 launch trailer from March.
Here’s the deal: You wander around the world of Toukiden, fighting Oni, the nasty demon beasties, of which there are over 50 different types, employing over 1,500 weapon variations to put them in the ground. There’s 4-player multiplayer and a 100 hour story campaign.
Bonus video: a 15 minute fight with a pink wolf.
Toukiden: Kiwami is due out on June 26th.
