At the recent TwitchCon event, the streaming giant announced that a useful new feature was coming for streamers: Video On Demand playlists.
For streamers, this means they can put together a sequence of their VOD content to play during the hours they are offline. It’s a chance for them to keep their channel running and offer continually rolling content for their fans and viewers, even when the channel is broadcasting live.
The feature extends to the iOS and Android apps, where viewers will also be able to watch the playlists.
Streamers who average 200 live broadcast users can register for the upcoming beta, and the playlist will be gradually introduced to users over the coming weeks.
