Unreal Engine 4 breaks through the uncanny valley, this time with chairs

Unreal Engine 4 has been in the hands of game studios and budding developers for a while now, and we’re starting to see some really impressive stuff emerge from it. A demo by a Youtuber “Koola” shows off just how far you can blur the lines between games and almost real looking environments.

We’ve got a video below, but be sure to watch in 1080p.

Without context, I think you’d have a hard time convincing someone that isn’t a real room somewhere in the world. The Unreal Engine Marketplace opened its doors only a couple a days ago, and tutorials to make demos just like this are flooding in.

Now if only we could get a games worth of this, that’d be great. Anyone?
