Forza Horizon 5
Something of a latecomer to the category, but one that swept expectant fans off their feet, Forza Horizon 5 is a beautifully executed game set in a colourfully embellished Mexican setting. Responsive and full of depth, this is a driving simulator at its best.
Farming Simulator 2022
Surprisingly occupying one of the highest concurrent player counts at one point this year and being a Steam top seller for a while, Farming Simulator 2022 proved to be a worthy addition to the series. Allowing for seasonal crops and a more intelligent AI, it’s hard to imagine how they might improve on this one next year.

Football Manager 2022
This years’ edition of Football Manager included a whole bunch of new and exciting details that made the world of modern football more tangible than ever. Fans of data and statistics really lucked out this year, as the game put more emphasis on the nitty gritty of how your favourite team operates behind the scenes.
FIFA 2022
An eternally popular series, the latest in the FIFA franchise introduced some impressive graphical upgrades and Hypermotion technology that made the player feel closer to the action than ever. Capturing the full-body movements of the worlds’ best footballers has allowed for every player to stand out in this years’ edition.

Madden 2022
Madden 2022 is a far more streamlined and slick edition of the game than its predecessors, offering fans a clean and immersive experience. With an enhanced Franchise mode, the game boasted one of the best examples of storytelling in the simulation genre.
F1 2021
One of the biggest changes to come to F1 2021 was the addition of a full story mode which added the drama from off the track to the series. It also gave players a new co-op career mode, and a series of nerve-wracking races in some of the most highly detailed vehicles ever seen.
