If you ever owned a PlayStation 3 or Xbox 360 you might be familiar with Vanquish, a lightning-quick cover shooter where cover is nothing more than a brief respite while you charge up, ready to zip back into the fray with a rocket-powered knee-slide.
There’s not a single shooter that’s anything like Vanquish, but here’s our list of PC’s best FPS games anyway.
Kotaku recently had an interview with Platinum Games co-founderAtsushi Inaba, and during the chat he was asked about the possibility of a Vanquish PC port.
“It would be a good idea to release Vanquish on PC,” said the Kotaku interviewer.
“Hrm,” replied Inaba, smiling. “I wonder… If you stop recording, I can talk about that.”
Well, well. well. It’s kind of ironic, given the pace of that game, that it would take this long to see Vanquish on PC, but this news is extremely welcome.
