Remember that fan-made Skyrim pillow that greets you with your demise each morning? The one that people were just besotted with on Reddit? Well, now you can have Ralof greet you gruffly as you enjoy your morning coffee, too, thanks to a colour changing mug that reveals none other than the grumpy, handcuffed Nord telling you you’re awake.
Nature cartoonist and author Rosemary Mosco has drawn our attention to the wonderful creation on Twitter, posting pre- and post-heated shots of it. Sure, it might look like just an ordinary black coloured mug when cool, but pop a hot beverage in and you’ve got Skyrim’s iconic opening scene staring back at you. “Hey, you. You’re finally awake” Ralof grunts at you.
“A friend got me this mug, the best colour change mug I’ve seen”, Rosemary says – and it looks like plenty of Skyrim fans agree. Replies to the post abound with calls for a link to the site that sells the mug, and many, many users exclaim variants of: “I need that mug in my life!”.
As of this story, the post has a whopping 28,000 likes and over 9,000 retweets. That’s a lot of Skyrim fans hungry to relive the opening moments of one of the best RPG games of all time while sipping their morning brew.

None of them look like licensed Bethesda merchandise but there are various links to places to buy the mug posted by users in the comments if you’re keen to peruse.
