WoW: Shadowlands lets you join a character-changing Covenant at level 60

The new World of Warcraft Shadowlands expansion introduces character-defining Covenants to join at the new level 60.

World of Warcraft’s new Shadowlands expansion was revealed yesterday at Blizzcon, and now we have further details on the eagerly-awaited trip to the netherworld beyond. Blizzard previously described how player levels in Shadowlands would be squished down to a maximum of level 50 – with the new level cap at 60.

The publisher has now revealed that, upon reaching level 60, players will be able to join one of the four Covenant groups of the Shadowlands – the angelic Kyrians, the undead Necrolords, the nature-guarding Night Fae, and the vampiric Venthyr. You only get to choose one of these Covenants when you reach level 60, and it will completely change the way you build your character.
