When I watch Worlds Adrift in action, I feel like I’m watching what MMOs were meant to be. I don’t mean full of skyships and bouncing ropes and physics — I mean always pushing, experimenting with what an online space can be, and letting players have a tangible impact on the world, not just sending them after bosses and into dungeons.

Bossa Studio’s MMO hosted a short alpha test in November, and the team’s put together a quick video detailing how it went, along with some new footage, captured as players took their first tentative steps (and falls) in the procedural world.
