Ubisoft are holding a free weekend for The Division. It’s the open-world online shooter that takes place in New York after a disaster. Good for playing with a squad so tell your friends and head on in.
Here’s a pleasant surprise: one of the biggest games of the moment has a new game mode that will only be available for the next week. It’s a 50v50 version of Fortnite Battle Royale. Get in there and check it out while you can.
The first DLC for Destiny 2 has now arrived so if you haven’t yet jumped in you should definitely check it out over the weekend. You’ll not only find new story missions to work through, but a new level cap, loot, and raid lair.
The Surge is one of better games of this year especially if you’re into Souls-likes – this is one. Now its first DLC, titled A Walk in the Park, is available, letting you into a theme park to rip and tear through new mechanical horrors.
And you thought the Five Nights at Freddy’s series had come to an end. Nope, doesn’t look like it, if Freddy Fazbear’s Pizzeria Simulator is anything to go by. This game, made by series creator Scott Cawthon, isn’t quite what it looks like…
Remember Superhot? It’s that first-person shooter in which time only moves when you do. Cool stuff. Well, it has an expansion or spin-off available on Early Access now. It adds a bit of roguelike to the game. What can possibly go wrong?
One of the biggest drops this week is the arrival of the White Noise update for Rainbow Six Siege. It brings new balance changes and bug fixes, but more importantly, a new map and operators. Get practising!
Homefront is one of the more controversial shooters out there. Not only does it broach some hot topics – most notably, the Korean takeover of America – when it came out it was met with some displeased critiques. Still, you can pick it up for free right now. Worth checking out at that price.
Capcom have made an official Okami courier for Dota 2. Yes, that is a bizarre move from them. Still, we’re into it, and think you should get over to the Steam Workshop to make it a reality.
