ZZZ 2.7 "Eridan Sunset (A)" is the current update to hit the gacha game following the conclusion of season two, and serves as the first half of a two-part standalone epilogue before season three begins in earnest. The last Angel of Delusion idol will debut on our Zenless Zone tier list, and the Hollow Champion tournament heralds some big story developments and events to set up the next chapter.
Zenless Zone Zero 2.7 release date
The Zenless Zone Zero 2.7 release date was Tuesday, March 24, 2026. The update went live at 8pm PT / 11pm ET / 3am GMT / 5am CET / 11am SGT.
ZZZ's servers go offline for scheduled maintenance for approximately five hours before the next update. HoYoverse usually compensates players with free banner currency for every hour the servers are down, so check your mailbox for ZZZ Polychrome once the next update is live.
HoYoverse's gacha games run on a six-week rotation, which means ZZZ 2.7 is expected to conclude sometime around Tuesday, May 5, 2026.
Zenless Zone Zero 2.7 livestream
The Zenless Zone Zero 2.7 livestream aired on Saturday, March 14, 2026, at 3.30am PT / 6.30am ET / 11.30am GMT / 12.30pm CET / 10.30pm AEDT / 7.30pm SGT.

Their signature Zenless Zone Zero weapons are available to pull from the accompanying weapon banner. An S-Rank ZZZ Bangboo won't debut this update.
Zenless Zone Zero 2.7 story
In ZZZ 2.7's story, we're putting the celebrations of Gilded Carrot Day behind us and looking ahead to the Hollow Champion competition hosted by TOPS. With one billion Dennies and an ultra-rare Porcelloy W-Engine up for grabs, the Rusty Cliff Corp has spared no expense on their sponsorship support, attracting interest from factions far and wide.
The Metropolitan Order Division of PubSec is one such participant, as undercover agent Cissia embarks on a covert investigation into this so-called routine cleanup. She's here to find evidence of "faded" Ethereals, a bizarre variant said to produce no Ether activity. The Calydon Sweepers and infamous Black Wolf Romeul are also rumored to join the tournament.
New Eridu might be swept up in the excitement of Hollow combat, but there's more than just the tournament to look forward to in version 2.7. The Simmer Hot Pot Restaurant at Lumina Square is getting review-bombed, and owner Blaze needs Phaethon's help to restore its reputation. Could a new hot pot dish be the answer to her prayers?
Zenless Zone Zero 2.7 events
Zenless Zone Zero events are limited-time commissions, scenarios, and alternate game modes that allow Proxies to pick up rare and unique rewards. Some events are announced in name only, so watch out for them as and when they appear in the RPG game.
