In the near future the Earth’s surface has become uninhabitable. What remains of humankind lives in former mining and research stations, deep below the surface of the sea. Oh yeah, and they build customized fighter ships to engage in fierce battles using torpedoes, mortars, mines and whatever else they can fire at each other underwater. This is the unforgiving world Aquanox Deep Descent hurls you into, inviting you to explore a deep sea dystopia torn by the struggle for resources and survival. Fancy your chances? You can win a key to try out their closed multiplayer beta which is launching Friday.
The Aquanox Deep Descent closed multiplayer beta will run from 17:00 BST April 28 to 17:00 BST May 1. The beta will include two game modes, team deathmatch and deathmatch for 4vs4, two different maps, all primary weapons and some secondary weapons. Players can fight each other or fill up missing player ranks with bots. When the beta is over, Aquanox will disappear from the library but emerge again when the next beta is live, around the end of May.
