The latest Magicka DLC has just been released, turning the co-operative fantasy magic-blaster on its pointed hat and allowing you to play as some rowdy, trouble-making, vampiric necromancers. Magicka: The Other Side of the Coin features elf-murder, human-maiming, dwarf-stomping and at least one bit where you set fire to some innocent pinatas. And look! There’s a launch trailer!
“Would-be villains will take on the role of Alucart the Vampire as he and his henchmen, The Necromancers, fight against the forces of good as they attempt to sabotage already terrible relations between humans, elves, and dwarves,” Paradox explains. The Other Side of the Coin includes the Necromancer as a new playable PvP character, four new challenge maps and updated Steam achievements. There’s also a whole lot of electrocution.
The DLC isavailable for £3.99 on Steam, or on a variety of other digital stores if you so prefer.
