Assassin’s Creed 4 open-world trailer sees Kenway navigate contracts and crabs

I could have sworn we’d covered a seven-minute Assassin’s Creed 4 trailer scarcely two weeks ago. Does game footage grow in length when you leave it to fester? It would seem so. We’ve got another thirteen minutes of similar seafaring fare for you here – plus an explanation of Black Flag’s open-world contract system.

I don’t know if Ubisoft have given any thought to how Kenway’s vertigo-inducing eagle jump might look when removed from its urban heritage – for instance, when our piratical protagonist jumps from his ship into the stream that runs through a quaint West Indian village. But yeah – it looks pretty silly.

Then again: stealth with consequences! That looked really quite special, didn’t it?

Thanks, RPS.
