Set during the distant future of 2080 in what is now known as New America, Auto Age: Standoff lets you become a wheeled warrior for either Dark Jaw or Val Vega – the two faction leaders fighting for the future and their lives. Dark Jaw is looking for domination of the Dead Zone while Val Vega is hoping to restore civilisation. It’s up to you who to fight for.
Of course, you can’t just enter the arena against 11 other combatants – in online or four-player local co-op – you’re going to want to pimp your ride, so to speak. Auto Age: Standoff offers up over 14 different cars and over 30 different weapons and gadgets to mix and match your loadout. You can really retrofuture your car up too, matching the synthwave soundtrack as you kick up dust and turn cars into scrap metal.
