We’re just days away from the release of Battlefield 4’s next DLC expansion: Naval Strike. DICE are waving in the new by bringing up the old, the latest trailer shows how a 16th century cannon is completely capable of taking out a 21st century helicopter.
It all looks like blisteringly good fun.
The video shows off bits from all four of the maps coming in Naval Strike: Lost Islands, Nansha Strike, Wave Breaker, and Operation Mortar.
There’s also a little footage of the hovercraft. It looks like a hovercraft. Well done DICE.
The third major addition of the DLX is Carrier Assault mode. It’s a game type that harks back to Battlefield 2142’s Titan mode, where you have to take down an aircraft carrier by controlling missile sites on the land and launching explosives at the giant ship.
Naval Strike is due to launch on 25 March.
