Battlefleet Gothic: Armada will be launching next month, and Tindalos Interactive have released a new trailer to celebrate.
You should play through our list of PC’s best strategy games while you’re waiting.
If you’ve been playing the Battlefleet Gothic: Armada beta, you will have faced the Orks during the last mission of the prologue, so you’ll have an idea of what to expect when the faction is added fully to the beta in the coming days.
While the Chaos faction prefers to stay at range and Imperium stick to a more balanced approach, the Orks feel more at home storming the enemy, ramming their ships with shock and awe tactics.
Check them out in the new trailer:
“It’s a huge pleasure for a young studio like ours to see Battlefleet Gothic gather so much interest from so many players,” says game director Romain Clavier. “The beta has been incredibly helpful in spotting relevant demands from the community. Following this huge response we’ve made the decision to spend some additional time integrating your feedback into the game. As a consequence, we will release Battlefleet Gothic: Armada on April 21.
“Based on that, we felt the need to release more content, both to reward current Battlefleet players and to introduce even more madness to this beta! As a result, we’ve decided to unleash the Orks in the coming days. This faction will turn your Battlefleet Gothic: Armada experience upside-down, with a totally different, more brutal style of gameplay. Having them in the beta will also allow us to balance them perfectly before the game releases.”
Tindalos are also planning to create another new faction to give out free to early adopters (anyone who pre-orders the game or buys it within the first two months after release qualifies), which they will unveil soon. This will be in addition to the Space Marine fleet already planned as a freebie for people who get in early.
If you want to take advantage of that offer, head over to the official site before it expires.
