We only had our first major look at Battlefront II a few weeks ago, but you might already have access to the current, unannounced closed alpha.
You don’t have to go to a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away to play the best Star Wars games on PC.
GameSpot noticed many users on NeoGAF reporting that they have been emailed codes for an alpha test of DICE’s Battlefront II. This is backed up by Twitter users reporting the same.
Importantly, players are reporting being able to access the game right now. While it’s a closed alpha, and so probably bound by nondisclosure agreements, players are happily (and not so happily) discussing their time in-game on the Battlefront site.
So far, EA have remained silent on whether an alpha is even going to run. It isn’t totally out of the blue, though, as its existence was accidentally leaked by a community manager on the official forums a few days ago.
Surprise Star Wars testing, anyone?
