Blizzard’s All-Stars is now Heroes of the Storm

Heroes of the Storm

And that’s about all we know so far. The new MOBA game from Blizzard brings Dota home, but will no longer be known as All-Stars. Instead we’ll be playing Heroes of the Storm at some undesignated point in the future. There’s even a pretty trailer to prove it.

As previous name All-Stars suggests, Heroes of the Storm will pit teams of players taking on the roles of famous Blizzard characters against eachother. In the animated trailer above we can see a WarCraft Orc, a StarCraft Marine (sounding a little Jim Raynor like there) and a Diablo Demon Hunter duke it out.

That’s all for now, but Blizzard promise there will be more at BlizzCon on the 8th and 9th November this year. “Set aside whatever you knew about Blizzard All-Stars” they say. Sounds like were about to see the new face of MOBAs. You might want to keep an eye on this website in the coming months.
