As part of the ongoing Hi-Rez Expo, the company have announced their next game - Bot Smashers. It's a multiplayer strategy game that takes place in a world of adorable robots and is set for a beta release some time this year.
They're also working on Paladins: Battlegrounds, a battle royale mode for their hero shooter.
It's described as a base-building RTS, and has a minimal UI to fit mobile. That's because, uh, it's a mobile game.
Revealed during the Hi-Rez Expo Keynote, Bot Smasher got a brief trailer, but that's about it - there's no trailer up on YouTube yet, and very, very few details up on the official site. In fact, there's so few details on the official site that the link to its YouTube channel goes to the Paladins Strike YouTube channel, a game that soft launched last year.
You can, however, sign up for beta testing now. There's no official word that it's definitely not coming to PC, and the gameplay trailer shown at Hi-Rez Expo 2018 did show a cursor being used, but for now: looks like Hi-Rez are leaving bot smashing to your mobile device.
