COD: WW2’s community hub will come under attack in multiplayer events

Headquarters is a new concept for Call of Duty – a living lobby where players can show of the spoils of war. I hope you’ve got that ‘420 blaze it’ camo at the ready. It won’t just be a fashion parade, though – there will be things to shoot.

Sledgehammer Games will be adding to Headquarters constantly and keeping it fresh, but one example given to Game Informer magazine, via Charlie Intel, is an airborne attack.

Players have to run to gun emplacements and defend the headquarters against incoming aircraft, presumably unlocking some kind of reward in the process.

There may even be seasonal events for holidays, so expect them to whip out the snowball fights in time for Christmas. Maybe some football.
