When developers talk about a game’s metagame they’re usually referring to a persistent levelling system or leaderboards. The real metagame is far more brutal. It’s the griefing you can inflict on your friends and family.

The latest trailer for Call of Duty: Ghosts shows Infinity Ward know that only too well.

It’s only a brief little thing:

I imagine you can relate to the events depicted above. Either as the fellow on the left or the guy on the right. The subtle use of the tea bag is what touches me most.

The video is one of a series of six which you can watch on Youtube but really this is the best of them. The rest are people making gun noises in inappropriate settings and they just aren’t up to par with this:
