At least, that’s what the latest rumour suggests. The most ridiculously-named protagonist in FPS gaming, Soap McTavish, will feature in a flashback mission, while a new protagonist, a cynical veteran in his mid-thirties, will take centre stage.
This is according to Digital Spy, who are reporting on a leak that SiliconEra caught in their news mop. Their source said dialogue was indeed being recorded for the game, backing up an earlier claim made by This is Xbox after one of their staff happened to sit next to the voice actor who plays Captain Price.
According to SilconEra’s source, who has proved reliable in the past, the sort of dialogue being recorded goes something like this: “Reminds you of Phuket, doesn’t it? Only this time the dust gives you
cancer… OK, park yourself and get ready. When this thing kicks off, put a
hole in anything that moves.”
