Stainless Games has announced that its pedestrian-smushing arcade racer Carmageddon: Reincarnation will fully launch on April 23rd, almost a whole month later than the previously announced release date of March 27th.

The studio also released a new trailer, showing lots of people getting splatted by cars, which is both big and clever, in case you were wondering.

The game is currently available in Early Access on Steam, but those who choose to buy now will receive the Carmageddon Classic Collection as a pre-order bonus.

“Yes, we’re delighted to announce that the game will soon be going GOLD,” wrote Stainless Games, with a glint in their eye suggesting they were about to make a pee joke, “and on the 23rd April it’ll be showered in all its Steamy golden glory upon an eagerly waiting world!”

There we go.

Here’s the trailer, which really does feel like it’s come straight off a covermounted CD in the 90s. In a nice way.

Here’s the game’s Steam page, if you’re interested.
