Well, regardless, the reason your period of hard labour is over is because the closed beta test for Conqueror’s Blade opens up today. Yes, it’s today – it’s time to fight people inside this immaculate simulation of medieval warfare.
Those who have pre-ordered the game should be able to get in there, but if you haven’t thrown your coin purse at this game yet, well, we have 500 codes that will get you into the closed beta anyway. Sneaky, huh? The closed beta test will run from today – February 7 – with the European and North American servers going live, and they should be up 24/7 until February 15. That gives you plenty of time to dig swords into sides and mash the blade around in the guts. Lovely.
Today’s closed beta test also adds tutorial missions to Conqueror’s Blade to help newcomers along. These will prepare you for feudal life beyond the city gates – it’s there that you’ll conquest for riches, settlements, and to defend your kingdom from rival players.
As Conqueror’s Blade is all about giving you the experience of fighting in huge medieval battles it encourages you not only to hone your own combat skills but to also raise and maintain armies. To thrive, you’ll have to command troops, march them to fortresses, and order siege weaponry to take out any barriers in your way towards conquering the land.
