Just a couple of days ago, Bioware announced the sad news that a designer on the team has passed away. Corey Gaspur was a designer for BioWare for over nine years, working on both the Dragon Age and Mass Effect series, as well as the upcoming game Anthem.
In the official post, the BioWare team described Gaspur as “a talented designer and an even better person,” offering their condolences to Gaspur’s family and friends. His young child – Cain Gaspur – is turning four on August 15, and so a fund has been set up by family and friends to support him.
At time of writing, the fund has raised over $28,000 (£21,000) for Cain Gaspur, from 170 donators. If you’d like to contribute, you can do so on the YouCaring page.
