You don’t know it yet, but there’s a hovercraft out there waiting for your embrace. You don’t need to sign-up to a peculiar dating app – all you need to do is start playing Crash Force, an online arena shooter in which you play as living hovercraft.
This is no joke. In Crash Force, the hovercraft are living beings with individual personalities. Don’t worry, this isn’t an alternate version of Pixar’s animated movie series Cars. It’s more like Twisted Metal if it had hovercraft rather cars. It’s about as grimy and vicious as that classic series too.
The idea in Crash Force is simple: shoot the enemy team, blow them up, and avoid being shot yourself. The team with the best kill-to-death ration wins. Each hovercraft has two modes of fire. A high-rate, weaker damage gun, and another gun that packs a punch, but fires much slower. On top of that, each hovercraft also has four abilities. Two of the abilities are based on the hovercraft’s class, while the other two let you put your own spin on it, depending on your playstyle preferences.
