Cyberpunk 2077’s singleplayer campaign will be an “immense, story-driven” RPG with no microtransactions, according to developers CD Projekt Red.
During a streamed CD Projekt Red financial event, president Adam Kiciński said Cyberpunk 2077 will have a strong, single-player campaign, similar to that of The Witcher 3, “without any micro-payments whatsoever” (via Gamespot).
However, when pushed on whether multiplayer would include microtransactions, Kiciński did not give a definitive answer, instead saying CD Projekt Red are “considering everything and anything.”
Though Kiciński revealed some information about the mysterious Cyberpunk 2077’s single-player, he remained pretty tight-lipped about topics such as E3. We know CD Projekt Red are due to attend this year, however Kiciński would not confirm whether the company will make any product announcement, instead saying the company will release their E3 plans just before it begins.
