Adventure game fans rejoice: LucasArts and Double Fine have announced a special edition of the legendary Day of the Tentacle for PC; including OSX and Linux operating systems. Day of the Tentacle was originally released back in 1993, where it enjoyed critical acclaim amongst the adventure game community.
The announcement came in the middle of the PlayStation Experience in Las Vegas last night. Double Fine boss, Tim Schafer, was at the event to promote the re-release of Grim Fandango on PC, PS4 and Vita, but also let slip the return of Day of the Tentacle to PC.
Grim Fandango will release on January 27th, 2015, but there’s no known release for Day on the Tentacle.
